Feb. 2 Pre-School Story Time
The Grand Ledge Area District Library’s Pre-School Story Time affectionately referred to as the power-hour story time, will resume Tuesday, February 2 at 11 am. Children ages 3-6, and their accompanying parent or caregiver, will be treated to stories and a variety of literacy enhancing activities that pair with the weekly theme. Due to upcoming renovations scheduled for GLADL Main, this program will be held at the Grand Ledge City Hall, 310 Greenwood St. Registration is not required, simply drop-in and enjoy.

East Lansing-based band Jackalope brings their swinging brand of Western-themed Americana to the Opera House. Charlie Richardson, singer-song writer will be joined by Mike Lawrence, stand up bass and David Stowe, drummer and saxophone. Charlie Richardson's deftly written original songs bridge the gap between story telling and dance in a fresh blend of contry-folk with a sing kick. Their musical styles includes folk, blues, country and Western swing. Try a "Country Two-Step" at intermission.
