They are very excited to announce that the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and mParks Foundation liked the project SO much, they have increased their match dollars! They now need to raise a total of $33,333 by Labor Day, September 4, 2017! Donate today!

Music in the Park continues at Jaycee Park

New Location:  Jaycee Park, 525 E. River Street
Thursday Nights through August 31 | 7:00 PM

Showdown and Sierra Denae will take the stage on July 20. Bring your friends and a lawn chair or blanket. There will be food concessions available onsite. 

There are several parking spots along River Street as well as city parking lots located downtown. Handicap parking will be available in the parking lot by the pavilion.

Movies in the Park start in two weeks

Friday Nights in August | Cartoons: 9:00 PM |  Movies: 9:30 PM

Bring a blanket and your family and friends. Join us for trivia games. Stop by the Grand Ledge Area District Library to enter a movie themed drawing. Prizes will be awarded during movie nights.

Fireworks Extravaganza

Thursday, August 31 at 9:30 PM after Music in the Park

The Hitchhikers and Global Village will take the Music in the Park stage at 7:00 PM at Jaycee Park.

After Music in the Park, the Fireworks Extravaganza will start. The fireworks show will be launched from the Island Park along the river. The bridge on Bridge Street between River and Front Streets will be closed during the fireworks, so the crowd can enjoy the display up close.
