Veteran Banner Program
The Friends of the Grand Ledge Chamber of Commerce is partnering with the City of Grand Ledge and American Legion within the Downtown Development District to bring a program to support our Military Veterans.
The bridge that crosses the river in our fair city, proudly hosts American Flags. We are now adding banners to the light poles on the bridge to honor our community's veterans. These banners will be standing tall on the poles from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
There is space for 12 veteran banners.
If you want to support this program, but do not have a specific veteran in mind, we can match you up with one.
If you have a Veteran or current Military member you'd like to honor and sponsor, please fill out the attached form and follow the guidelines on the flier to complete the process.
Each banner is double sided and honors one Veteran/Military member. It is a $250 sponsorship which pays for the banner, the man power to hang and take them down with the remaining funds being donated to the Grand Ledge American Legion Post 48 to continue with their updates and repairs of the Post. Additionally, your business will be displayed on the banner as the business honoring the Veteran.
The deadline to reserve your banner is Monday, April 21st so act quickly if you are interested.
